She was born one year ago today and has blessed our lives in more ways than we could count. There's been cake, singing and lots of cuddles today.
We are so grateful and blessed to have Indigo in our lives. For every lesson we teach her she provides two. And so it goes in this crazy dance called parenthood.

I was about to be all shocked & amazed but then I remembered I too will have a one year old soon, I remember surfing your blog & looking at a gorgeous lil'newbie when I was still pregnant & fed up. ;)

Happy Birthday Indigo, and Mama-- happy birthing day! I just read your birth story, and it's wonderful. I also read your post a few days (weeks?) ago, and I agree... natural birthing should always be an option for women. It is an incredibly important benchmark in a woman's life.
If I'm lucky, my newest will share a b-day with Indigo... though I'm not feeling anything yet!
