Despite the fact that I spend a whole lot of my time sitting, cuddling, rocking and feeding as of late, I've still managed to have some fun in the kitchen too. I find baking and cooking to be a busy comfort. Being in the kitchen makes me feel productive, it nourishes my growing family yet it is also relaxing and a real pleasure. My beloved thermomix has been an absolute saviour when time is of the essence. Although I love chopping, preparing and slow cooking it's such a blessing to still be able to cook wholesome, organic foods from scratch in a short time. I've especially relied on the thermomix for making my coconut pumpkin soup (under 30 minutes) cooking perfectly fluffy rice (12 minutes) and making a rich sneaky vegetable tomato sauce for pasta night (in 30 minutes).
